Checklist for Reconsideration of Library Material
This is the form the review committee uses when determining if a challenged material follows board policy. If you formally challenge a book, you will receive a call from the district and will be invited to come and say why you believe the book does not follow board policy.

Parents make sure you are keeping an eye on book fairs and learning apps like Sora, that also contain books and e books that may not follow board policy. Book fairs now require permission slips to attend. Library Media Specialists cannot fully vet all of the books provided by Scholastic before the fairs because there are so many titles.
